Healthcare

Western provides a wide range of services for healthcare facilities to meet the rigorous standards for the Joint Commission, Jurisdiction Having Authority, and local health department codes.

HVAC Systems Cleaning, 6year Fire Damper Inspections, Damper Actuator Repairs, And Firestop are some of the services we offer healthcare facilities on a 24 hour 7 day a week basis. 

 

These services are performed under the strict infection control standards set by the client facility, which our staff is well versed and trained on an annual basis.

Education

 

Western provides all services for local elementary and high schools, along with institutions of higher learning. Every school district and every college is different, which is why we take pride in our ability to cater our services around their regular and vacation shedules.

 

Our 24 hour 7 day a week policy allows for around the clock availability to perform our services.

Office

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has become a leading environmental issue.  Studies have shown that we spend 89% of our time indoors and the air we breathe indoors is often more polluted than outdoor air. Furthermore, almost 70% of all IAQ problems involve Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.  

 

The HVAC system is designed to control temperature and humidity by evenly distributing conditioned air throughout the structure. It is equally capable of distributing airborne contaminants throughout the space, unless steps are taken to prevent this from occurring. It has been suspected that "Sick Building Syndrome" can be fully or partially caused by inadequate ventilation, chemical contaminants (carpeting, adhesives, copy machines, cleaning solutions), outdoor and biological pollutants such as the buildup of bird droppings, and mold especially in or near HVAC systems.

 

To rectify such conditions, a total decontamination is warranted for duct systems, HVAC units, unit interiors, humidifiers, cooling coils, heating coils, fans, drains, and other areas practically inaccessible to decontamination except by specialized equipment and professionals.

 

The air ducts are considered the "lungs" of a building and the HVAC units are considered the "heart".
